Annual Program Evaluation Report 2021

We are pleased to release our 2021 Annual Program Evaluation Report, produced by the University of Hawaii at Manoa’s Department of Psychology, Ecological Determinants Lab. The past year marks our fourth year of serving houseless and opportunity youth, and is highlighted by some amazing achievements. In 2021, we:

-Sheltered 145 youth and provided over 7400 nights of safe sleep

-Completed 198 VI-SPDAT assessments to help connect youth with appropriate housing and services support

-Spent 276 days conducting outreach in our Oahu communities

-Helped transition 65% of shelter residents into stable housing

Homeless youth will find support at new drop-in center

Leeward Coast youth who are living on the street will finally have a nearby resource hub when Residential Youth Services &Empowerment opens its first youth-focused drop-in center in the region.
